The Democratic Women’s Party has grown and is growing exponentially...We are now seeing it everywhere: The number of outspoken, politically active - “Nasty Wimmins”... a term of endearment! (this editor’s moniker for them on Facebook, alias’ ‘Screamin’ Libs”.) Women, are moving to the front of the line. Have you noticed?...They don't ask permission anymore. It is wonderful thing to see. Their time has come...and they recognize it.
COMMISSIONERS RACE, BEAUFORT:
Local Beaufort-Morehead City writer, publisher, editor, Ken Humphrey is running for one of the three seats coming up for election in the City of Beaufort.
Three of my main issues:
(1.) Getting Beaufort’s streets repaved, repaired.
(2.) Keep Beaufort’s Historical Heritage preserved forever.
(3.) Continue to work on the Parking situation, to make it fair for everyone – tourists, resort-restaurant worker, and for local businesses. Willing to compromise when it is to the majority will, with fairness to all. ‘That’s my deal’
BAD NEWS:
....EPA coal ash existing, protective rules are under assault from Washington.
All EPA clean-air, clean water regs are under full assault now by the Trump administration …….A push is underway to convince the U.S. EPA to revise relatively new rules regulating coal ash waste disposal and storage, changes that could affect Duke Energy’s cleanup of coal ash in North Carolina.
....The EPA is evaluating requests from power utilities and others to possibly modify two rules governing how utilities manage their coal ash waste...In 2014, structural issues came to the fore when an estimated 39,000 tons of coal ash spilled into the Dan River in Eden after a stormwater pipe beneath an ash pond at Duke Energy’s Dan River Steam Station ruptured Feb. 2. The pipe was sealed later in the month...

Well, it’s now October and they’re still in session! However, there was some movement recently when the House voted to override the Governor’s budget veto. The override is now in the Senate and it will take at least one Democrat to break from the fold to pull that off, so it’s unsure what will happen.

Although it’s technically possible that the legislators could consider more action on fish-related stuff, it’s very doubtful.

More and more, career diplomats are now publicly contradicting the president's 'explanation' of 'no pressure' on Ukraine Pres, Zelensky. They are saying: "It is unthinkable to tie military assistance, long committed for Ukraine's defense against Russians at their border, to an investigation of a domestic political rival."
There is clearly the appearance of 'quid pro quo':
(1.) You investigate Biden
(2.) You get the already pledged $488 million in weapons - But nothing happens...'until then'.

ELECTRIC CARS: Duke Energy plans to install 2500 EV charging stations.
Auto repair shops will go away. A gasoline engine has 20,000 individual parts. An electrical motor has 20. Electric cars are sold with lifetime guarantees and are only repaired by dealers. It takes only 10 minutes to remove and replace an electric motor. Faulty electric motors are not repaired in the dealership but are sent to a regional repair shop that repairs them with robots. Gas stations will go away. Parking meters will be replaced by meters that dispense electricity. Companies will install electrical recharging stations; in fact, they’ve already started. You can find them at select Dunkin Donuts locations. Most (of the smart) major auto manufacturers have already designated money to start building new plants that only build electric cars. Coal industries will go away. Gasoline/oil companies will go away. Drilling for oil will stop. So, say goodbye to OPEC (Oil Producing and Exporting Countries) Homes will produce and store electrical energy during the day and then what they don’t use they will sell it back to the grid. The grid stores it and dispenses it to industries that are high electricity users. A baby of today will only see personal cars in museums.

Her life changed dramatically after a video went viral of her singing in a Los Angeles subway station. A black police officer videoed her singing in the subway and he posted it. The rest is history. She sings Puccini’s O Bambino Caro, or also known as the theme song from the hit movie ‘Room with a View’. Since it’s been shared, many have reached out to help Zamourka and she's accomplished her dream of singing on stage. Sometime in the past her violin was stolen. Then this week someone bought her a new violin. She now has a singling contract.
MISSOULA, Montana – ‘Hair Blower Momma” slows speeding drivers!
Patti Baumgartner wanted drivers to stop speeding and slowdown in her Montana neighborhood so she took action herself. A photo of the mother and grandmother sitting on the side of the road using a hair dryer as a fake radar gun went viral on social media., Missoula, Mont., TV station KPAX reported. Montana state trooper Noah Pesola caught wind of a tweet with the photo and made the grandmother a honorary trooper. "The best thing I could think of was to give her a trooper hat and a badge to make her look a little more official,” he said.
